Read – Salvation Occurs at a Moment in Time

Note in each of these verses that everlasting life does not begin at death or at the resurrection, but when a person believes! In each verse, everlasting life is spoken of in the PRESENT tense for the one who believes. At the moment of salvation, eternal or everlasting life is imparted to the believer – physical death simply changes the sphere of that life from earth to heaven. Where does II Corinthians 5:8 say that the believer will go after they die, when their soul leaves their body?
