Read – He Was Received By The Apostles
The context (Of John 20:22) shows Jesus to be speaking with ten of the twelve apostles. Whatever is meant here
by the word “receive” was not a reference to a permanent reception. Their baptism “with the Holy Ghost”
was yet future according to Acts 1:5.
