This fact was seen in the previous lesson as eternal, or everlasting, life is spoken of in the present tense upon belief in the Lord Jesus. Immediately upon belief one gains eternal life.
What is eternal life?
Eternal life is just that – eternal. It means “forever”. It means when life ends here, it continues somewhere else. The Bible uses the phrase in a positive sense.
